Composition of Wear Resistant, Fire Resistant and Plastic Tamping Material

Plastic is a kind of refractory similar to castable, but totally different. It has similar function with the same type of castable, but its performance is better than that of castable. Castable uses water bonding while plastic uses special bonding agent. It has the characteristics of convenient construction, no supporting mould and no oven.

Tamping material is a kind of cementitious material with inorganic polymerization technology and strict technological proportioning. Special liquid inorganic glue is added to the site, and the lining or surface of the equipment is constructed by manual tamping or smearing. It reaches a high bonding strength and hardness after 72 hours.

Plastic and ramming materials can be applied, and both have good wear resistance. Adding mullite can provide thermal shock resistance stability. Adding corundum can increase wear resistance. They are two kinds of high-quality refractories.
