General type of ladle castable

Words:[Big][Medium][Small] Mobile Page Two-Dimensional Code 2018-10-15

(1) The content of A12O3 in clay bricks and clay bricks is generally between 30% and 50%, and the unit price is low. Important for the permanent layer of ladle and the bottom of the ladle.

(2) High alumina bricks. The A12O3 content in the brick is between 50% and 80%, which is important for the working layer of the ladle.

(3) Wax stone bricks. The brick has a high SiO2 content. Ordinary in more than 80%, better corrosion resistance and grouping than clay bricks, and no dross. Conventionally used for ladle wall and bottom.

(4) Zircon bricks. This brick is important for the ladle slag line. The ZrO2 content in the brick is generally between 60% and 65%.

(5) Magnesia carbon bricks. This brick is important for the ladle slag line, especially for multi-furnace continuous casting. The MgO content in the brick is usually around 76%, and the carbon content is between 15% and 20%. Its characteristics are low corrosion to slag, good corrosion resistance and peeling resistance.

(6) Aluminium-magnesium castables. The castable is important for the steel inclusion body. Its characteristic is that under the effect of molten steel, the MgO and A12O3 in the castable form an aluminum oval spinel, which improves the slag resistance and thermal shock resistance of the inner liner.

(7) Aluminum-magnesium carbon bricks. This brick is a substantially developed ladle lining in the aluminum-magnesium castable, which is long in use.

(8) Do not burn bricks. Nowadays, the materials used for the fired bricks of the ladle can be almost made into the corresponding unfired bricks. Its characteristics are that the production process is simpler and the unit price is lower. The brick itself has a certain degree of machine intensity and corrosion resistance, which is convenient for construction and masonry.

If the ladle itself is also used for refining, it is also possible to select MgO-Cr2O3-A12O3 and MgO-CaO-C refractory castables, including: magnesia chrome brick, magnesia chrome aluminum brick, dolomite brick, and the like.

When the brick material with the content of ink material is used as the steel lining, it is better to apply a layer of anti-chemical coating on the surface layer. When the dyke is burned, the surface layer of the lining is loosely combined, which affects the age of the furnace.
