High alumina brick is a neutral refractory material with alumina content above 48%. It is formed by bauxite or other raw materials with higher alumina content. High thermal stability and refractoriness above 1770 °C. Good slag resistance. Used for laying linings for steelmaking electric furnaces, glass furnaces, cement rotary furnaces, etc.

       High-aluminum bricks are mainly used for masonry blast furnaces, hot blast stoves, electric furnace tops, blast furnaces, reverberatory furnaces, and rotary kiln linings. In addition, high-aluminum bricks are also widely used as open-hearth regenerative lattice bricks, plugs for sprue systems, nozzle bricks, and the like. However, the price of high alumina bricks is higher than that of clay bricks, so it is not necessary to use high alumina bricks where clay bricks can meet the requirements.
