Detailed construction methods and precautions for castable

1. The following contents shall be strictly inspected before construction of castable:

1.1 check the appearance and cleanliness of the pouring equipment to be poured;

1.2 check the good condition of construction machinery and tools, vibration tools, etc. must have good spare parts

;

1.3 check the type, size, arrangement and welding quality of the anchoring parts. The metal anchoring parts must be compensated for expansion;

1.4 check the surrounding firebrick lining and heat insulation layer for the prevention of pouring material water loss;

1.5 check the packaging and delivery date of castable, and conduct pre-test to check whether it is invalid;

1.6 the quality of construction water must reach the quality of drinking water.

If the above items fail to pass the inspection, they should be treated as qualified before construction.Materials that have expired or become invalid shall not be used.Castable construction to ensure that there is no power failure, do not interrupt the construction.       

2. The formwork for pouring material construction can be made of steel plate or hard board.The formwork should have enough strength, good rigidity, no distortion, no displacement, no leakage of pulp.Steel template to paint release agent, wood template to brush waterproof paint.Reused templates should be cleaned before being painted.       

3. The amount of added water of castable shall be controlled in strict accordance with the operating instructions and shall not exceed the limit.Under the premise of ensuring the construction performance, the amount of water should be less and less. 

4. Stirring time of pouring material should not be less than 5 minutes.Use a forced mixer.When mixing, dry mix in advance, add 80% of the water used for stirring, and then, depending on the degree of wetness and dryness, slowly add the remaining water and continue to stir, until the appropriate working consistency is obtained.The mixer should be cleaned before mixing different castable.

5. Castable must be used by the barrel and bag.The finished castable is usually used up within 30 minutes.In the high temperature dry operating environment should also be appropriate to shorten the time.Pouring materials that have been initially set or even agglomerated shall not be poured into the mold frame or stirred with water for reuse.

6. The pouring material into the mold frame shall be immediately stratified with vibration bar, the height of each layer shall not be more than 300mm, and the vibration interval shall be about 250mm.When shaking, try to avoid touching the anchor, not in the same position of long earthquake and heavy earthquake.It is observed that the vibration bar should be pulled out slowly after grouting on the surface of the pouring material to avoid segregation and cavitation of the pouring layer.After the completion of pouring, the pouring body can no longer be subjected to compression and shock before solidification.       

7. When pouring large area, construction should be done in blocks.Each casting area should be about 1.5m2.Expansion joints shall be left in accordance with the design and shall not be omitted.Expansion joints should be left at the spacing of anchor pieces.       

8. After the surface of castable is dry, cover the exposed parts with plastic film or straw bag immediately.After the initial set arrives, water should be sprayed and maintained regularly to keep its surface moist.Maintenance time at least two days, the first day to frequently sprinkler.After the final setting of the pouring material, the side mold can be removed and continued to be sprayed with water for curing, but the load-bearing template can only be removed after the strength reaches 70%.       

9. After the removal of the formwork, the casting body should be inspected in time.Quality problems such as honeycomb, peeling and voids should be dealt with and repaired in time.When the problem is serious, the defective parts should be chiselled out to expose the anchoring parts. Then, tamping materials of the same quality should be used to fill them up and tamp them down. Maintenance should be continued.
