Effect of binder on properties of low cement castable

Effect of binder on performance of low cement castable: the performance of low cement castable is not only related to its own performance and matrix, but also has a close relationship with construction quality. 

First of all, temperature is one of the factors that affect the construction quality of low cement castable. Low ambient temperature will prolong the hydration reaction time of cement, hinder the growth of castable strength, and also lead to the accelerated attenuation of flow value of low cement castable and shorten the construction time, thus affecting the construction quality of low cement castable. 

According to our usual construction feedback, the binder and temperature have a great influence on the construction of high aluminum and low cement castable.During the construction at 20-30℃, some coagulant can be added to the low cement castable to shorten the construction. When the temperature is higher than 35℃, an appropriate amount of coagulant can be added to prolong the construction time of the material. 

Therefore, the ratio of binder can be appropriately adjusted according to the construction conditions when using low cement castable.Moreover, after many tests, adding the right amount of binder to adjust the strength of low cement castable has no effect.
